Biography

Originally from Kobe, Japan, Ryota currently lives in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

"All the while having much passion for music, I have been writing songs by myself aside from doing vocals in a band.

After much encouragement from my band mates and friends I’ve met along the way and having much free time at my hands, I decided to do solo aside from my band, playing stuff that I wrote. Which I come to enjoy as I am able to express more of my personal side, my personal feelings and life’s experiences."

Fete de la Musique 2010 has invited Doppelganger Open Mic to help arrange a slot again. The Fête de la Musique is above all a free popular festival, open to any musician who wants to perform. The musicians perform for free, and all the concerts are free for the public. It happens all across the world and it will be celebrated in Kuala Lumpur on Sunday 20th June from 5 pm till late. Musicians and music lovers will enjoy one open stage at Palate Palette (21 Jalan Mesui, 50200 KL).
