SOUNDSCAPE RECORDS PRESENTS JAPANESE INSTRUMENTAL BAND "LITE"

Soundscape Records bring you yet another quality live acts from the land of rising sun, a one-night only performance by Lite, supported by Amateur Takes Control from Singapore and home-grown band The Metaphor.

Formed in Tokyo in 2003, the band –Nobuyuki Takeda (guitar), Kozo Kusumoto (guitar), Jun Izawa (bass), Akinori Yamamoto (drums) – are cited as an influence by a new wave of young instrumental bands around the world.

10 YEARS VALHALLA + DOPPELGANGER ANNIVERSARY

Celebrating 10 Years of Open Mic glory! An appreciation night for media and musicians who have graced the DoPPelganger stage over the past decade! So we're declaring 15 July OPEN MIC DAY!

Valhalla Open Mic was started by two friends - DJ Beryl and Jasmine Low at the old Liquid Bar, Central Market in 2002. Every Thursday night musicians, dancers, singers and drag queens would grace the platform to showcase their acts. From 2005 onwards, DJ Beryl grew busy with her advertising job and so Jaz continued the open mic nights under the moniker - Doppelgänger Open Mic.

Featuring DJ Beryl, Peter Hassan & Markiza, Ray Cheong, Jes Ebrahim, Ady Suwardy, Reza Salleh, Adam Lewis Yates, Hameer Zawawi, Naim Fauzi and many more!
