Founded in 2003, Melbourne, Australia's My Disco have spent nearly a decade defining and refining their sound in a way that defies rock music's most enduring tropes. Each new album finds them subtracting a little more, applying minimalist instincts to relentless, stripped-bare post-punk grooves. 

The result is a hypnotic, almost subconscious body music that lives and breathes with the persistent repetition of a heartbeat and the menacing precision of a sniper.

Fete de la Musique 2010 has invited Doppelganger Open Mic to help arrange a slot again. The Fête de la Musique is above all a free popular festival, open to any musician who wants to perform. The musicians perform for free, and all the concerts are free for the public. It happens all across the world and it will be celebrated in Kuala Lumpur on Sunday 20th June from 5 pm till late. Musicians and music lovers will enjoy one open stage at Palate Palette (21 Jalan Mesui, 50200 KL).
