25 Feb: Filmmakers Anonymous Workshop & Screenings

FA Film Session: Film Writing
Date: 25 Feb 2012
Time: 11.00 - 13.00
Venue: DoPPel Kafe, Mezzanine Floor, Central Market Annexe

Hi guys! Hot on the heels of hosting the mini symposium with the Wong Fu boys, FA has come up with yet another event to palate your film taste buds! The FA Film Session: Film Writing is a workshop-based session that is aimed at improving your scriptwriting and storytelling skills. We'll be looking at the role of the writer, and the importance of the writer's vision. Better yet, you'll get a chance to hone your script by workshopping it with the rest of the participants.

This event will be facilitated by film lover Manesh Nesaratnam. As a screenwriter/director of television programs and short films he has crafted stories across various genres - multi-plot narratives, feature length comedies, ensemble drama series, educational programs, short films and a whole range of other works. Come for a discourse about writing narrative screenplays and workshop your ideas. Only those exceptionally vulnerable souls, hyper-sensitive about their creative work, prone to crying/fits of anger on been criticized, and yet at once completely thick-skinned, are welcome. Bring tissues.

Best of all, the event above is free! What are you waiting for? Email us at filmaholic@gmail.com, and let us know you're coming! For more information, you can check out our blog at www.filmmakersanonymous.blogspot.com, or you can follow us on Twitter @filemmakers for the latest updates!

See you at the movies!

Perhaps this article (Sex Pistols' Steve Jones interview: 'We should do a covers album') could be an inspiration to them to reinvent, repackage and just bloody get their band out there more and more and more :P Can...
