One Buck Short , or OBS to their fans, burst straight into the Malaysian music scene barely 10 years ago and is now loaded with a handful of experience and a truckload of hit songs.
OBS has many achievements including performing with American bands Fall Out Boy, Good Charlotte, My Chemical Romance and more as well as being the only Malaysian act to perform at the inaugural Singapore Festival (SingFest) in 2007. They have also progressively garnered more fans with their tours in China, Hong Kong, Macau, the Philippines and
Liyana Fizi plays acoustic tunes tinged with a mix of folk and bossa. She has gained acknowledgement for her melodic songwriting and was one of the founding members of Malaysian indie-pop band, Estrella. However, she has been performing as a solo artist since September 2009 with a permanent band of sessionists and takes a vast interest in using music as an outlet for expression.
She has performed internationally in Vientiane, Laos, London, Manchester, Sydney, Melbourne and Singapore, to name a few. Liyana is truly excited to be part of FEYST10 as China’s indie music scene has grown larger and more varied, especially in Shanghai. She hopes to entertain the Shanghai indie community with her music and to meet the Shanghai-based psychedelic pop band, The Honeys.

Ady Suwardy is a multi-talented singer-songwriter who also happens to be an interior designer by profession. His love for old standards, jazz and R&B is reflected in his pop-ish music style of interpretations with a touch of the lazy jazzy overtones.
He feels privileged to perform at the FEYST10 World Tour in Shanghai; as he will be representing Malaysia and also have the opportunity to expose his music to the people in Shanghai.
He says, “It’s going to be an experience I will never forget. I hope the community in Shanghai will check out the Malaysian music scene and let music keep us closer together.”

Izzy Mohd singing with a band called Cultural Cocktails in 2001 and ventured out on her own in 2004. Ever since then, she has been active in Kuala Lumpur’s singer-songwriter scene where she has performed at Alexis, No Black Tie, Paul’s Place, La Bodega, SohoKL and the Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre (KLPac), to name a few. While she mainly sings about love, life and its experiences, her musical delivery consists of pop, acoustic folk, alternative and jazz.
She feels that it’s a very good opportunity for her and her fellow Malaysians to be able to travel to Shanghai and experience performing in front of the city’s live audience. Find out more about Izzy Mohd at http://www.myspace.com/izzymohamed#ixzz0vhk6flbx
Zalila Lee has been playing in the Malaysian music scene since 2000. Hearing a mix of genres (which resonates on blues, funk and folk), this singer-songwriter brings two words to mind: rhythm and story. She has played at numerous shows such as the Mont Kiara Jazz Fest, Fête de la Musique, Esplanade Singapore, Urbanscapes KL, and at Vientianne, Laos. She usually makes her appearance at the local music bar, No Black Tie.
She is completely psyched about touring with FEYST10. She’s been to China once before for her travels, and thinks, “It will be great to have my musical experience in Shanghai where it is so historically rich in music. And to the indie community – I hope to see you soon!”

Singapore. On top of that, they also became the first Malaysian band to successfully produce Malaysia’s largest rock festival, Rockaway 2009.
They love China as they feel that the people are supportive and the acceptance of different cultures and values are easily attained. Their message to the Shanghai indie community is to “give the best at what you do and do not stop doing what you love to do. Confucius says ‘patience and consistency will ensure true reality of one’s dream’.”
