BLOG & SNAP ON-THE-SPOT” CONTEST ON MUSIC, CHARITY, FRIENDS MAS TOUCHDOWN @ SKYPARK TERMINAL SAAS AIRPORT

A. CONTEST

Malaysia Airlines “MAS Touchdown @ Skypark Terminal, SAAS Airport” “Blog & Snap On-the-Spot” about Music, Charity, Friends MAS Touchdown @ Skypark Terminal SAAS Airport Blogging contest (“Contest”) will take place during the MAS Touchdown @ Skypark Terminal SAAS Airport event on 9 January 2010 (“Event”).


B. CONTEST PROCEDURES

  1. There will be 2 Contest Periods. The First Contest Period will begin at about 2.00pm at the Event and will last for 1 hour. The Second Contest Round will begin at about 4.30pm at the Event and will also last for 1 hour.
  1. How do you participate:
    1. Register and get your Blogger Button Badge at the Go International Booth at the Event.
    1. During either one of the Contest Periods, you are to “Blog & Snap and Upload” on your Music, Charity, Friends MAS Touchdown @ Skypark Terminal SAAS Airport experience (“Blog Entry”). There will be 5 lap tops for you to use, better still, bring your own lap top or phone to participate.
    1. If you have a blog, load up your completed Blog Entry and email us your blog link within either one of the Contest Periods to mhblog@malaysiaairlines.com.
    1. If you do not have a blog, just email us your Blog Entry and we will load it up on http://www.malaysiaairlinesblog.com
  1. Blog Entries will be judged based on creativity and the following equally weighted judging criteria:
a. Novelty and originality of the Blog Entry.

b. The Blog Entry's interest and appeal.

c. Interesting shots and commentary of the event - There will be numerous activities for you to blog about including performances by independent artistes such as Liyana Fizi, Najwa, Rashdan Harith Band, Ady Suwardy and Pesawat, trendy Bijou Bazaar stalls, The Doppelganger Indie Scene Café Stall, the charity auctions and being at Skypark Terminal SAAS Airport.

  1. The Blog Entries will be judged by representatives from Malaysia Airlines, Go International and Skypark Terminal SAAS Airport. Judges’ decisions are final, conclusive and binding and no further appeal, enquiry and/or correspondence will be entertained.
  1. Any Blog Entries received beyond the Contest Period(s) will not be considered. Malaysia Airlines reserves the right to extend the Contest Period(s) if it deems necessary and any extension will be communicated on a best effort basis.
  1. There will be two (2) winners for this Contest, one for each Contest Period. We will announce the winners during the Event.
  1. Courtesy of CANON the winning Blog Entries will get a Canon digital Model A 1100 camera worth RM700.
  1. The full and complete Terms & Conditions of this Contest shall be complied with by the participants if this Contest.

I've been asking her to read her poetry at our gigs a couple of times already and it's just a matter of time i guess before she actually accepts! She's got amazing written stuff. I sure hope to hear her perform one day at our gig.
