Special Event: Malaysia Beatbox Challenge @ Indie Youth Fest 2009

Hey hey all you beatboxers out there! Here's a special announcement. Doppelganger will be working together with SRB (Sound Rhythm Beatbox) to produce what we believe is the FIRST BEATBOXING CHALLENGE in MALAYSIA! Thanks to an idea that was presented to us at Doppelganger Open Mic Open Stage by a person by the name of MEGAT (SALLEH) - and gosh we were confused as we had 3 MEGATS on our books!!! Nice to have cleared that up! Anyhoo... check out this video call-out.

3. Wait up and we'll shortlist and send you an official invite to the Grand Finals, to be held at 1 Utama Shopping Centre in Kuala Lumpur on 17 & 18 October 2009.

Remember, there are many events as a part of the Indie Youth Fest season 2009/10! And our theme this year is DIGITAL DELIRIUM! Tagline? It's where we celebrate digital DIY culture! So don't get confused.

Judges & prizes for activities will be announced at our press conference to be held in July! Plus another surprise announcement! We just can't wait! Indie Youth Fest is getting closer and closer. Be a part of it!

Doppelganger Indie Picks: Che Puan Sarimah Ibrahim

In this edition of Doppelganger KL Indie Picks, we are so stoked to share with you an artiste who has entertained Malaysians for over 25 years. She hosts TV shows so effortlessly, and a true natural for screen. She released several music singles in between acting in films and television, presenting shows online and for broadcast, radio deejaying and appearing as a talent in commercials.
