It’s all happening at SohoKL – the premier dining & nightlife hotspot in KL!
This New Year’s Eve, revellers are invited to experience and appreciate all forms of the arts; from dance to music, design to freestyle expression at ‘The Only Place to Be’; SohoKL at Solaris Mon’t Kiara.
NU Year's Eve @ SohoKL promises nothing but pure entertainment for a solid 12 hours on 31 December 2008. The event, which will be showcasing a line-up of independent bands, singer songwriters, DJs, dancers and international designers will kick off at 3pm and run through the night for the countdown at SohoKL.
What to expect at this exciting event:
- Jazz band performance by Sweet Notes
- Appearance by the HitzFM Announcers and XFreshFM street surfers
- Performances by renowned indie bands such as Brokenscar, Killer Calculateur, Komplot, They Will Kill Us All, The Times, Pesawat and more to hype up the crowd
- DJs Elf and Bo. Aka Mr. Fluff to spin while ushering in the New Year
- Avant Garde Dance performance inspired by Japanese Butoh Dance forms
- Japanese Anime Show from Singapore
- Special performance from Singapore by Fireflys Neon & Fire Dancers – the founders of the very successful Fire Festival held in Singapore annually.
- Doppelganger Open Mic Open Stage which allows independent musicians, singer-songwriters and poets to take up centre stage
- Indie Scene Café’s Guitar Hero World Tour Demo Play inspiring wannabe musicians
- Don’t Panic and Pipit Creative International Poster walk-through
- Plus, a chance to win over 40 brand new hand phones and prizes worth RM100,000!
There are just so many exciting activities lined up for party-goers! The unique thing about the location is not just nightlife entertainment, but also the wide range of dining options available.
